As an artist, Bhagat works primarily with oil and acrylic on canvas, but has also experimented with installations and digital art. Bhagat’s works are easily identified by the unique palette of colours that he uses to depict his figures. His vibrant, fluid brushstrokes create a refreshing sharpness that is characteristic to all his artworks. Bhagat also utilizes mythic symbolism to create dream worlds that allow the viewer to shift into a colourful and futuristic imaginary world. In his efforts to leave behind a body of work that brings the viewer joy, the artist imbues his canvas with a sense of drama portrayed through an intelligent gradation of colours and fluid, abstract compositions. Bhagat works and lives in New Delhi.
