SEEMA KOHLI
Seema Kohli, a multifaceted Indian artist, was born in 1960 in Delhi, India. She graduated from Miranda House, Delhi University, laying the foundation for her artistic journey. Kohli's work garnered international recognition at the 2009 Florence Biennale in Florence, Italy, where she received a gold medal for her film "Swayamsiddha: Myth, Mind, and Movement."
Her expertise has been sought after by prestigious platforms, including the Bihar Museum Biennale 2021, TEDx, Jaipur Lit Festival 2021, NGMA, WIN Conference, and esteemed academic institutions like UConn, Chico, Harvard, and Davis. In 2016, Kohli created a stunning installation at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, featuring 1,000 colored cutting chai glasses and 700 glass holders. In 2019, The Museum of Sacred Art (MOSA) hosted a six-month exhibition of Kohli's artworks at Radhadesh, Durbuy near Brussels, Belgium, showcasing her unique blend of traditional and contemporary art forms.
