Morning Glory 2 by Kappari Kishan is a vibrant and intricately detailed painting that captures a moment of quiet procession and cultural richness. The artwork depicts a line of women walking in unison, their backs turned to the viewer, creating a sense of movement and continuity. Each woman is characterized by long, flowing black hair and adorned in elaborately patterned garments that burst with bright, varied colors, highlighting the artist’s skillful attention to detail and textile motifs.

The women carry large, ornate umbrellas that dominate the upper portion of the composition, striking red umbrellas dotted with white and a contrasting yellow umbrella provide a protective canopy, their vivid hues intensifying the visual impact of the scene. These umbrellas, both decorative and symbolic, add layers of cultural resonance and evoke traditional ceremonies or communal gatherings. Kishan’s background features lush palm trees and flourishing floral elements, blending natural motifs with stylized forms. A small, warm orange sun-like shape nestled amidst the greenery introduces a subtle focal point, imbuing the scene with a gentle glow and sense of dawn or new beginnings. Nearby, a delicate blue bird adds a touch of whimsy and life to the environment, balancing the composition with its soft color contrast.

Executed in acrylic on canvas, the painting embraces a folk or decorative art aesthetic, combining vivid colors with intricate patterns and textured brushwork. The overall effect is one of harmony and vibrancy, as the rhythmic repetition of figures and the lush, detailed surroundings invite viewers into a narrative that is at once communal and deeply personal. Morning Glory 2 stands as a celebration of cultural heritage, femininity, and nature’s beauty, rendered through Kappari Kishan’s masterful layering of color, pattern, and symbolic imagery. The work invites reflection on tradition and togetherness, wrapped in a luminous palette that enlivens the canvas with warmth and vitality.

Why Choose Us

Art has always, naturally, reflected the development and exploration of different thoughts and perceptions, and our current postmodern era is no different. It is interesting to see how art has evolved visually, yet the traditional methods of composing art remain a valid means of expression.

All it takes for an artist to rise above normalcy, is inspiration, which fuels his passion to paint beautiful creations throughout his life.
The valuable expression of art is always there with us, but now this expression is yet to take an interesting diversion with our art gallery, Gallery Silver Scapes, located in Hauz Khas Enclave. Art is no longer considered just decorative but has evolved and come forth as a major form of investment yielding high rates of returns for its buyers, making it an expression commonly used.
