ARVIND SHARMA

Arvind Sharma is a printmaker whose work probes the nuances of human interaction within his native, multicultural community of Karnal, Haryana. Drawing early inspiration from his father’s devotional drawings, he earned his BFA and MFA from Kurukshetra University before embarking on a prolific freelance career. Sharma has received 129 international and 122 national awards, with his prints held in the China Printmaking Museum and numerous private collections worldwide. Invited to demonstrate and judge printmaking events from Lovely Professional University to international competitions in Russia he explores etching, lithography, woodcut, serigraphy, and drypoint to match line quality with concept. He currently teaches as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fine Art at Budha College of Higher Education, Karnal.
